Lyman’s Pro Trim die will work with most electric trimmers using a 13/16” mounting thread. We recommend that cases be sized before running them into the trim die. To set-up the die, cycle the press until the shell plate or shell holder are at their full travel and closest to the die station. Turn the die into the press until its bottom edge contacts the shell plate or shell holder, then back the die off about the thickness of a match book cover. Since the Trim Die is dimensioned like a size die, we suggest that you check a case in a headspace gauge to verify correct shoulder position. Adjust the Trim Die up or down if needed to ensure proper headspace. The die can now be locked in place and the trimmer can be installed using the instructions received with it.
