These are steel bushings and lube is required.
Wilson bushings will work in Wilson, Redding, Hornady, and RCBS brand bushing dies. They will not work in Forster Dies.
The rule of thumb for calculating the appropriate bushing size is:
You want 0.001” spring back if you are single loading a bolt gun.
You want 0.002” spring back if you are loading a bolt gun through the magazine.
You want 0.003” spring back if you are loading an semi auto.
Example. Measuring a loaded round midway on the neck yields a measurement of 0.339 “.
The ammo is going to run through the magazine of a bolt gun.
0.339”- 0.002” = 0.337” would be the bushing size to try out.
Please note each brand of brass will have a different case wall thickness and may need a different bushing size.
