The Hornady FTX® bullets enhance the performance of lever action rifles. The FTX bullet polymer tip allows for safe loading in tubular magazines while affording increased ballistic performance of extended range and accuracy. The Flex Tip topping off a secant ogive bullet design results in extended bearing surface and increased ballistic coefficient. The jacket and core are locked together with the InterLock ring. The velocity envelope runs from 1600 to 2600 FPS.
