Hornady Match bullets (Open Tip Match, OTM) are constructed with the AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) bullet jackets. The Hornady Match bullets are a hollow point tipped with indivualized boat-tail design (HPBT) or hollow point tipped with a flat base design. The new AMP jackets are the foundation for exceptional bullet accuracy and have virtually zero concentricity issues and near zero wall thickness variation which contributes to down range accuracy. Each Match bullet has a unique angle and length of the boattail to enhance flight characteristics. Match bullets are recommended for hunting.
