Revolutionary Bore Cleaning Technology
ThorroClean is designed to effectively remove copper and carbon fouling from rifle bores without the need for long wait times or complicated clean-up procedures. Its advanced formula keeps your barrel in pristine condition, making it an indispensable addition to your regular cleaning routine. Here’s how to integrate ThorroClean into your firearm maintenance effectively:
Step-by-Step Cleaning Method for Maximum Efficiency
Preparation:
Use a Bore Guide: Ensure precision and protect your bore during cleaning by starting with a high-quality bore guide.
Solvent Port: Employ a solvent port to facilitate the straightforward application of ThorroClean and its counterpart in the system.
Step 1: Initial Cleaning
Wet Patch: Begin by running a wet, tight patch through the bore to eliminate any loose carbon fouling, setting the stage for a thorough cleanse.
Step 2: Deep Cleaning with ThorroClean
ThorroClean Application: Generously apply ThorroClean (about a teaspoonful) to a high-quality bore brush. Perform 10 to 15 passes through the barrel, from the breech out through the crown and back, to effectively break down copper and carbon deposits.
Step 3: Rinsing with ThorroFlush
Dry Patch: After brushing, use a dry patch to remove any excess ThorroClean from the bore.
ThorroFlush Final Rinse: Conclude with patches soaked in ThorroClean to ensure all remaining cleaner and residues are removed from the barrel. This typically requires 2 to 3 patches. Check the solvent port for any leftover cleaner and inspect the bore with a borescope to ensure a thorough job.
